About Chet Lowe
Chet Lowe’s story begins in the Bahamas, where he was born into a Christian family that lived out their faith. At only seven years old, he felt a call to ministry and hosted his first outreach—a Vacation Bible School in his parents’ garage. That small act sparked a lifelong mission to share the Gospel.
Chet’s heart was shaped by his parents, Ira and Pam Lowe, who loved people and served God with everything they had. Alongside them were his siblings—Susan and Matthew—whose lives left a lasting imprint on Chet’s journey.
By thirteen, Chet was already stepping into missions. A church trip to South Korea led him to help build a church, and the following year, he traveled to Liberia to help construct a school. For a teenager from a small island, these experiences confirmed what he already knew: God was calling him to serve anywhere, at any time.
In 1994, Chet married Andrea. A year later, they moved to Liberia—in the midst of a brutal civil war—with a newborn. Life was far from easy, but they were there to serve those in deep need.
